Hosted by Olivet Nazarene University, the Brandenburg Gallery serves to promote Christians in the visual arts through exhibitions and community activities. The gallery hosts visual artists as well as showcasing our senior art students.
The gallery shows through the Brandenburg Gallery, the Strickler Gallery, and at Higher Grounds in Bourbonnais, IL.
Connections, explores the graphic use of color, shape, line and image through digital media pieces. Elizabeth's works will be on display in the Strickler Planetarium Gallery on the campus of Olivet Nazarene University. Also showing will be Laura Wayteck's mixed media paintings.
Laura Wayteck's Edible, explores the ecological impact of agriculture and sustainable practices in the foods we eat through her mixed media paintings. Works by Elizabeth Caudle will also be on view. Please plan to attend, refreshments will be provided.
Stellar-Narious, an digital media exhibition by Bradlee Barnes will be in the Brandenburg Gallery. Bradlee's digitally altered photographs will be presented for the next two weeks. Please plan to attend his opening reception this Thursday!

The premier exhibition for ICONS is hanging in Strickler Planetarium. ICONS is the Department of Art and Digital Media's honors art group. Students in the group participate in campus and community projects as well as mentoring other students in the arts.

The Brandenburg Galleries is pleased to host the Art Faculty of the CCCU (Council of Christian Colleges & Universities) in its Faith as Art | Art as Faith series of exhibitions. The Faith as Art | Art as Faith series is a newly created, annual exhibition exploring the ways that the creative arts and faith intertwine. Artworks that are inspired by faith, that examine its social and political ramifications, or explore creative ways to spread the Gospel of Christ are represented.

The Faith as Art | Art as Faith series began in 2009 with a scholarship exhibition for the students in the Department of Art & Digital Media at Olivet Nazarene University, which marked the beginning of an initiative to continue the exhibition, seeking a wide range of participant artists: new, emerging and established to share in the dialogue between Art and Christian Faith.
The Brandenburg Gallery is pleased to present "A Spirited Nature," paintings by Margie Glass-Sula. Margie Glass-Sula's paintings explore delicate and abstracted organic forms. Drawn from nature, her imagery is quiet, simple and subtle.

The Brandenburg Galleries is seeking faculty artists who pursue creativity to explore their faith and spirituality in meaningful ways. Our goal is to foster creative scholarship and conversation between faculty of Christian Colleges and Universities on a national level.
Faith as Art : Art as Faith began in the Fall of 2009 as a scholarship exhibition for the students of ONU's Dept. of Art & Digital Media. The Brandenburg Galleries is seeking to expand this exhibition into an open, annual series focusing on student, faculty, national and international artists.
All 2D and 3D mediums will be eligible for consideration. Chosen artworks will be on exhibition at the Brandenburg Gallery and the Strickler Gallery on the campus of Olivet Nazarene University.

Calendars of Events:

Accepted Works: All work should be delivered ready for installation. 2D work must be wired and ready to hang. Any special considerations for complicated presentations should be discussed prior to delivery of artwork. Work must be labeled with: Artists name, Title, Media, Dimensions and price or NFS (Not for Sale).
The Small Works exhibit is now up at the Strickler Planetarium Gallery.
An intimate viewing of student and faculty artworks will be on display until April 12th. All works are under twelve inches offering a look at work on a personal scale among an art world enamored with other worldly sized pieces.
Please stop by and have a look. There will not be a formal reception for this exhibit, however it will be open 10-5pm during the week and will be open for viewing on Thursday, April 8th during the 6-9pm hours along side our receptions of Allen Posey's The Alternative Show at Brandenburg Gallery and Laura Gardner's A Nature Walk at Higher Grounds.
A Nature Walk, a senior graphics exhibition by Laura Gardner is up at Higher Grounds until April 12.
Please plan to attend her reception on April 8th from 6-9pm. A raffle will be held for multiple prizes and part of the proceeds from her exhibition will be donated to the United Way of Kankakee County. Her gallery talk will begin at 8pm.
