Small Works Exhibition is up!

The Small Works exhibit is now up at the Strickler Planetarium Gallery.

An intimate viewing of student and faculty artworks will be on display until April 12th. All works are under twelve inches offering a look at work on a personal scale among an art world enamored with other worldly sized pieces.

Please stop by and have a look. There will not be a formal reception for this exhibit, however it will be open 10-5pm during the week and will be open for viewing on Thursday, April 8th during the 6-9pm hours along side our receptions of Allen Posey's The Alternative Show at Brandenburg Gallery and Laura Gardner's A Nature Walk at Higher Grounds.

Laura Gardner's A Nature Walk

A Nature Walk, a senior graphics exhibition by Laura Gardner is up at Higher Grounds until April 12.

Please plan to attend her reception on April 8th from 6-9pm. A raffle will be held for multiple prizes and part of the proceeds from her exhibition will be donated to the United Way of Kankakee County. Her gallery talk will begin at 8pm.

Allen Posey's The Alternative Show

The Alternative Show consists of Allen Posey's alternative process prints, or cyanotypes, as well as chromogenic color prints of architectural photographs.

Please plan on viewing Allen's work which will be up in the Brandenburg Gallery until April 12. A reception will be held on Thursday, April 8th from 6-9pm. His gallery talk will begin at 7pm.

Daniel Oliver and Rachel Fiorenza at Strickler Gallery

This week and next, Feb 25 - Mar 15th, the Strickler Planetarium Gallery will be hosting works by our senior artists, Daniel Oliver and Rachel Fiorenza.

A reception will be held Thurs March 4th from 6-9pm with gallery talks beginning at 7 pm.

Daniel Oliver is showcasing his sequential artworks while Rachel Fiorenza will be showing her Paintings and Illustrations.

Please join us for art and refreshments.

The Brandenburg Galleries arehosting several shows this week and next. We are happy to present the works of our senior artists:

In Brandenburg, Thurs Feb 25th we have:

Kori Steiner is presenting her graphics and photography highlighting the design and architecture of Chicago.

Kelly Holcomb is presenting her tactile paintings as well.

An opening reception will be from 6-9 pm with gallery talks beginning at 7pm.

Mariah Potts will be presenting her photographic journey. Her reception is from 6-9 as well with her gallery talk beginning at 8pm.

Beth Hagenburg & Stephnie Leitner

Brandenburg Gallery in the Larsen Fine Art Center at Olivet Nazarene University is hosting an exhibition tonight, Thursday, February 18th from 6-9pm

Bethany Hagenburg is presenting her digital media artwork, while Stephanie Leitner will be showcasing her paintings.

Lots of Photography Happening Tonight

We have several receptions tonight at Brandenburg Gallery and Higher Grounds. All shows will be on display through next week.

Zack Frye's Glimpses and Amy Duerrwaechter's Exposure of the Streets will be on display at the Brandenburg Gallery in the Larsen Fine Art building.

Caleb & Joel Floyd's exhibit will be on display at Higher Grounds

Receptions will be from 6-9pm with Gallery Talks beginning at 7pm at Brandenburg and 8pm at Higher Grounds.

Kathleen Johnston & Charles Leiman this Thursday Jan 14th

Two shows are up for viewing this week and next:

Kathleen Johnston's Couture Amour, photographic illustrations and portraits will be hanging through next week at the Strickler Planetarium.

Charles Leiman's paintings and illustrations will be at the Brandenburg Gallery in the Larsen Fine Art building.

Kathryn Williamson, Artist Reception Thursday, 6-9

Kathryn Williamson will be displaying her Graphic Design work in the Strickler Planetarium Gallery this and next week. Her work explores complex compositions of color and simplified shapes including circles and ellipses.

On behalf of the Brandenburg Galleries, I invite you to the beginning of our Senior Artist's Exhibitions. Two receptions will be held this Thursday for the following exhibits:
